Clinical Observation on Korean Hemorrhagic Fever

Abstract
Ninety-one cases of Korean Hemorrhagic Fever who were admitted to Daegu Fatima Hospital from .January 1969 to December 1976, were analysed from the stand-point of geographic distribution, clinical and laboratory findings.
The results were as follows:
1) Geographic distribution was both urban and rural areas of the Kyung-Pook province.
2) The peak monthly incidence was November and December.
3) The peak age incidence was the 3rd to 5th decade and the male to female ratio was 4 : 1.
4) The farmer was most predominant in occupational distribution.
5) Most of the patients were admitted on the stage of the oliguric or hypotensive phase of the disease.
6) The mortality rate was 6.6%, and causes of death were pulmonary edema, shock and renal failure.
